The Store Site In charge plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing all aspects of the store operations at project sites within the EPC industry. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure smooth functioning of the site stores.
Responsibilities & Key Deliverables:

Inventory Management
:
Maintain accurate records of all materials and equipment stored at the site.
Implement inventory control measures to prevent stock outs and minimize excess inventory.
Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies with procurement and finance departments.
2. Procurement Support:
Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment required for ongoing projects.
Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and manage the receiving process.
Communicate any issues or delays in procurement to relevant stakeholders and propose solutions.
3.
Storage and Organization:
Supervise the arrangement and storage of materials in the store to ensure optimal space utilization and easy access.
Implement proper labelling and categorization of items to facilitate efficient retrieval.
Enforce safety protocols and guidelines for storing hazardous materials.
4.
Issuance and Distribution:
Process requests for materials and equipment from project teams and ensure timely issuance.
Maintain records of materials issued to various departments and track their usage.
Coordinate with logistics personnel to arrange transportation for materials to project sites as needed.
5.
Quality Control:
Inspect incoming materials for quality and compliance with specifications.
Monitor the condition of stored materials to prevent damage or deterioration.
Report any quality issues to the procurement department and assist in resolving them.
6.
Documentation and Reporting:
Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant metrics.
Maintain documentation related to receipts, issues, and transfers of materials.
Prepare documentation for internal audits and regulatory inspections as required.
7.
Team Management:
Supervise storekeepers and other support staff assigned to the site store.
Provide training and guidance to ensure adherence to store procedures and safety protocols.
Conduct performance evaluations and address any performance issues in a timely manner.
8.
Communication and Coordination:
Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand their requirements and priorities.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors to resolve any issues related to store operations.
Participate in regular meetings to provide updates on store activities and address concerns raised by stakeholders.
