Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all store operations for raw materials, finished goods, packaging materials, and spare parts within a food processing environment.
Ensure strict adherence to quality checks before accepting incoming materials, in coordination with the QA/QC team.
Accurately maintain stock levels using inventory management software (ERP/Tally/SAP), ensuring real-time data entry.
Issue and verify Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) and related documentation for all materials received.
Implement and enforce FIFO and FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) systems to maintain freshness and minimize waste.
Conduct periodic stock audits and reconcile physical vs. system inventory.
Ensure hygienic storage conditions and compliance with FSSAI standards and other relevant food safety protocols.
Coordinate with procurement, production, and quality teams for timely availability of materials.
Requirements:
preferred Graduate/Diploma in Supply Chain, Food Technology, or related field.
3-5 years' experience in stores/inventory management in a food processing unit.
Proficiency in inventory management systems (ERP, Tally, SAP).
Familiarity with food-grade material handling, packaging norms
Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
