The Store Incharge is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store or warehouse, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. This role ensures that stock levels are maintained, inventory records are accurate, and all store activities comply with company policies and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate all store activities including receiving, storing, issuing, and dispatching materials.
Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock registers or ERP systems.
Conduct regular stock audits and report discrepancies to management.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement to replenish supplies as needed.
Prepare and maintain documentation related to goods received, issued, and returned.
Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards within the store premises.
Train and supervise store staff in handling materials and maintaining records.
Coordinate with production, purchasing, and logistics teams for smooth material flow.
Maintain records of tools, consumables, spare parts, and equipment.
Manage store layout for efficient accessibility and space utilization.
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management review.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 1 years of experience in store/inventory management.
Strong knowledge of inventory control systems (ERP, SAP, Tally, or similar software).
Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
Ability to lead a team and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
