The Store In-Charge will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring proper receipt, storage, issuance, and accounting of raw materials, components, consumables, finished goods, and spare parts required in kitchen equipment manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management
Maintain proper stock of raw materials, consumables, semi-finished & finished goods.
Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels to avoid stock-outs or overstocking.
Conduct regular stock audits, physical verification, and reconciliation with system records.
Store Operations
Ensure safe receipt, handling, storage, and timely issuance of materials.
Maintain proper documentation for inward & outward materials (GRN, Issue Slips, Gate Passes, etc.).
Coordination
Coordinate with the purchase department for material requirements and shortages.
Work closely with production and dispatch teams to ensure smooth operations.
Liaise with suppliers and transporters for timely delivery of materials.
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain updated records in ERP/Excel.
Ensure proper labeling, binning, and identification of materials.
Comply with company policies, safety standards, and statutory requirements.
Team & Process Management
Supervise store assistants, helpers, and ensure disciplined store functioning.
Develop and implement store management systems for efficiency.
Train and guide the store team in material handling and record-keeping.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of inventory management & store operations.
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to handle pressure and multitask in a manufacturing environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate / Diploma / B.E
0-5 years of experience in
store management in a manufacturing industry
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Accuracy of stock records vs physical stock.
On-time material availability for production.
Reduction in material shortages & excess stock.
Proper documentation & compliance adherence.
Efficiency of store operations and team performance.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
