to manage the kitchen store operations for our sweets and bakery production unit. The role involves handling stock receipts, storage, issuance, inventory management, and ensuring hygiene compliance in the store area. The candidate should be detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to maintain accurate records for smooth production flow.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Receive and forward all goods and deliveries to the correct point of contact/storage area.
Verify all incoming goods against purchase orders, delivery notes, and agreed quantities.
Refuse acceptance of damaged, expired, or incorrect items.
Ensure all invoices and reports are posted and recorded in the
Material Management System (MMS)
.
Follow standard procedures for issuing and receiving stock within the store's operation.
Maintain accurate stock registers and filing of invoices, GRNs, and related documents.
Monitor and maintain
PAR levels
of all raw materials to ensure no shortages or excess stock.
Conduct regular inventory checks and audits, reconciling physical stock with MMS records.
Investigate and report any stock discrepancies to the Finance Department.
Prepare daily/weekly stock, consumption, and requisition reports for management review.
Identify and report slow-moving or non-moving items to avoid wastage/over-purchasing.
Maintain systematic arrangement and proper storage conditions for perishable & non-perishable goods.
Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) method is followed for raw material usage.
Monitor cleanliness and hygiene of storage areas, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
Coordinate with Production, Purchase, and Finance teams for smooth operations.
Maintain professional appearance, discipline, and compliance with company policies.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Store Incharge / Storekeeper (preferably in food, sweets, or bakery industry).
Knowledge of
inventory management, MMS/ERP systems
, and stock control.
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.
Qualification: 12th Pass / Graduate (Diploma in Stores/Inventory Management preferred).
