Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing the store.
Ensure the store maintains cleanliness, organization, and a pleasant shopping environment.
Ensure proper stock rotation, labeling, and price tagging.
Staff Management:
Supervise store staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
Delegate tasks and assign responsibilities to team members as needed.
Handle employee queries and resolve conflicts within the team.
Conduct regular staff meetings to update on sales targets and store goals.
Inventory Management:
Manage stock levels and inventory control to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
Ensure timely reordering of merchandise and coordinate with suppliers for stock replenishment.
Perform stock audits and keep accurate records of stock movement.
Handle returns and exchanges according to company policy.
Sales & Customer Service:
Drive sales through exceptional customer service, ensuring all customer queries are addressed promptly and efficiently.
Identify customer preferences and suggest products to meet their needs.
Monitor sales performance and take corrective actions to meet sales targets.
Reporting & Compliance:
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales, inventory, and staffing.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and legal regulations.
Assist in setting and achieving financial and operational KPIs.
Visual Merchandising:
Ensure that products are displayed according to company standards and guidelines.
Plan and implement promotional displays to maximize sales.
Cash Handling:
Oversee cash management and ensure proper handling of transactions, including cash register balancing and safe deposits.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Retail, or related field.
Proven experience (2-3 years) in retail operations, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office or POS (Point of Sale) systems.
Good understanding of stock management, sales, and customer service principles.
