Job Summary:

The Store Incharge in a laundry facility is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the laundry inventory, including managing, ordering, and controlling stock levels of detergents, linens, chemicals, and other essential supplies. The role also ensures smooth store operations, compliance with safety and hygiene standards, and efficient supply to meet laundry demand.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Management:

Maintain accurate records of stock levels, conducting periodic inventory audits, and managing stock replenishment to avoid shortages or overstocking.

Oversee incoming supplies and check quality, quantity, and condition, ensuring accurate storage to avoid damage or loss.

Forecast inventory requirements based on usage trends, coordinating with suppliers for timely replenishment.

2. Store Operations:

Ensure proper organization, labeling, and categorization of items in the store, allowing easy access and efficient inventory management.

Monitor and maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the storage area.

Implement and update store management protocols to improve efficiency and compliance with regulatory standards.

3. Coordination and Communication:

Coordinate with the laundry team to ensure timely and adequate supply of necessary items based on daily operations and demand.

Communicate effectively with suppliers, procurement teams, and management regarding stock levels, purchase requirements, and delivery timelines.

Maintain a close relationship with operations to anticipate demand fluctuations and adjust stock accordingly.

4. Record Keeping & Reporting:

Maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly records for inventory movements and prepare reports on stock status and store performance.

Track inventory costs and work with management to control budget within the allocated limits.

Analyze stock trends to identify slow-moving items and propose solutions to optimize stock.

5. Compliance and Safety:

Follow health and safety guidelines for handling and storing chemicals and cleaning supplies.

Ensure all activities comply with organizational policies and regulatory requirements, especially around chemical storage and handling.

6. Team Support:

Provide guidance and support to team members for best practices in inventory and stock handling.

Train staff as needed in inventory management and safety protocols.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
