Ensure that inventory levels are maintained accurately and are adequate to meet customer demand.
Monitor stock levels, receive and inspect incoming goods, and conduct regular stock audits.
Coordinate stock replenishment, manage returns, and ensure stock rotation to avoid expiration (if applicable).
Operational Efficiency:
Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards.
Ensure that all store equipment and systems (POS, security systems, etc.) are functioning correctly.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare regular reports on stock levels, sales, staff performance, and other operational aspects.
Maintain records of transactions, stock movements, and inventory adjustments.
Submit performance and issue reports to upper management.
Ensure that all store equipment and systems (POS, security systems, etc.) are functioning correctly.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Loss Prevention and Security:
Implement and enforce security measures to prevent theft or loss.
Conduct regular audits and work with security personnel to ensure the store's assets are protected.
Supplier Coordination:
Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any issues related to product supply.
Negotiate with suppliers for favorable pricing or terms when necessary.
