Receive, verify, and inspect trims, raw materials, and finished goods.
Maintain accurate stock records, ensure proper labeling, categorization, and follow
FIFO/LIFO
as applicable.
Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with the system.
Issue materials following
Wing Issuance Method
and authorized
Material Requisition (MR) slips
.
Monitor stock levels, identify shortages, and coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment.
Prepare and maintain
challans, MR slips, and store transaction records
.
Update stock entries in
Excel or store software
in real time with accuracy.
Ensure safe, organized, and accessible storage to avoid damage/wastage.
Safely operate material-handling equipment when required.
Assist in quality checks during material receipt; coordinate for defective item returns.
Follow safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in store areas.
Work closely with production teams to ensure timely supply of trims/materials.
Operate independently with a proactive approach to store operations.
Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent (Additional qualifications in supply chain management or warehouse operations are a plus).
2-4 years experience in garment trims store operations.
Knowledge of Wing Issuance Method and MR documentation.
Proficiency in computer operations (Excel, store software).
Ability to work proactively and independently.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting and moving materials.
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work overtime when required, especially during peak production periods.
