Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and proactive
Store In-Charge
to manage the complete stores operation for our doors/plywood manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in inventory management, stock control, raw material handling, GRN preparation, and store documentation within a plywood / wooden / manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:Inventory & Stock Management
Maintain daily records of incoming and outgoing materials.
Ensure proper stocking, storage, and identification of materials (raw materials, finished goods, consumables, spares, etc.).
Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and physical stock verification.
Track reorder levels and coordinate with the purchase team for timely replenishment.
Material Handling & Documentation
Prepare GRN (Goods Receipt Note), issue slips, purchase return notes, and related documents.
Ensure accurate posting of materials in SAP/ERP (if applicable).
Ensure FIFO/FEFO method for material issuing and handling.
Coordination & Reporting
Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Accounts, and Quality departments for smooth workflow.
Generate daily/weekly/monthly inventory reports and submit to management.
Highlight stock discrepancies and investigate variances.
Safety & Compliance
Maintain stores adhering to safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
Ensure proper handling of expensive hardware, chemicals, adhesives, and materials used in wood production.
Skills & Competencies Required:
Strong knowledge of
inventory management
in manufacturing / plywood / woodworking industry.
Proficiency in MS Excel and SAP / ERP software (added advantage).
Ability to lead and supervise store helpers/workers.
Good communication and vendor coordination skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Strong sense of responsibility and ownership of the store function.
