at our project/site office in Thoothukudi - Vagaikulam. The candidate will be responsible for material handling, inventory tracking, vendor coordination, and supporting the accounts team with day-to-day financial entries.
Key ResponsibilitiesStore Management
Receive, inspect, and verify materials delivered to the site.
Maintain accurate stock inventory, issue materials to site teams, and update stock registers regularly.
Monitor material consumption and report shortages ahead of time.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of materials.
Prepare GRN (Goods Receipt Note), material inward/outward documents.
Conduct periodic physical stock audits.
Coordinate with suppliers and logistics for timely delivery of materials.
Maintain tools & assets register and ensure proper tracking.
Accounts & Documentation
Assist in daily accounting entries (purchase entries, expense entries, etc.).
Maintain petty cash records, vouchers, and bills.
Support monthly MIS reports preparation.
Coordinate with the HO accounts team for invoice submission, vendor payment follow-ups, and documentation.
Skills Required
Good knowledge of inventory & store management.
Basic accounting knowledge (Tally ERP / Excel).
Strong MS Excel skills (Vlookup, Pivot preferred).
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to manage records and documentation accurately.
Experience in construction/solar projects is an added advantage.
