Parts Person
for our Shimla Branch to lead and manage the parts operations for our fleet of Excavators
,
heavy trucks, and construction vehicles. The ideal candidate will oversee inventory management, supplier coordination, parts ordering, logistics, and departmental staff. This role ensures optimal parts availability, cost control, and timely service to support maintenance operations and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the parts department, including stock control, ordering, and distribution.
Manage a team of parts coordinators, storekeepers, and support staff.
Ensure all parts processes comply with company policies and regulatory standards.
Coordinate closely with service and maintenance teams to forecast parts demand.
Analyze usage trends and prepare regular reports on stock levels, purchasing, and costs.
Maintain proper safety, cleanliness, and organization of parts storage facilities.
