The Store Incharge is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the bakery store. This includes supervising staff, managing inventory of bakery items, ensuring high standards of hygiene and customer service, and driving sales to meet targets. The role demands hands-on involvement in operations, product quality, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise all front-end bakery store operations including sales, staff management, and customer service.
Ensure all bakery products are fresh, properly displayed, and within expiry limits.
Monitor inventory of baked goods, ingredients, packaging, and other supplies; coordinate with the production team or suppliers for restocking.
Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards as per food safety regulations (FSSAI or local standards).
Handle daily cash collection, billing, and POS operations.
Train and motivate sales and support staff.
Resolve customer queries, complaints, or feedback promptly and professionally.
Prepare daily/weekly reports on sales, wastage, and stock.
Ensure proper storage of perishable items to avoid spoilage and maintain quality.
Implement store promotions and offers as directed by management.
