JOB TITLE: STORE HEAD

EXPERIENCE NEEDED: MINIMUM 20 YEARS

Key Roles and Responsibilities of a Stores Head

1. Inventory Management

Maintain optimal stock levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods. Implement inventory control techniques like FIFO, LIFO, and ABC analysis. Monitor stock movement and reconcile physical vs. ERP inventory.
2. Material Handling and Storage

Ensure proper storage conditions for different types of materials. Organize warehouse layout for efficient space utilization and accessibility. Oversee loading, unloading, and safe handling of goods.
3. Procurement Coordination

Collaborate with procurement and production teams to forecast material requirements. Ensure timely receipt of materials to avoid production delays. Verify and approve incoming material quality and quantity.
4. Documentation and Record Keeping

Maintain accurate records of stock receipts, issues, returns, and transfers. Use ERP for real-time tracking. Prepare periodic stock reports and audits.
5. Team Leadership and Training

Supervise store personnel and assign daily tasks. Train staff on inventory procedures, safety protocols, and system usage. Conduct performance reviews and promote best practices.

Pay: ?50,000.00 - ?70,000.00 per month
