About the Role



We are seeking a

refined, dynamic, and results-driven Store Head Stylist & Manager

to lead our flagship boutique in Pune. This hybrid leadership role blends

luxury retail management, high-end client styling, and operational excellence

-- ideal for someone who thrives in the world of fashion, aesthetics, and customer experience.

You will be responsible for curating an elevated in-store journey from first greeting to final delivery while also driving sales performance, leading a talented team, managing merchandising and customization, and ensuring that the store embodies the brand's premium identity at all times.

This position demands

5-7 years of experience

in luxury or premium fashion retail, along with a strong understanding of

client styling, store management, and team leadership.



Key Responsibilities



1. Leadership & Store Management



Lead all store operations with a strategic mindset, ensuring seamless execution across departments; sales, styling, merchandising, and operations. Set monthly, quarterly, and annual targets and create actionable plans to achieve them. Implement performance review systems, track KPIs, and optimise productivity for all team members. Manage store budgets, daily reporting, and expenditure control in coordination with brand leadership. Ensure adherence to brand SOPs across client service, sales operations, and inventory control. Conduct regular management meetings to discuss goals, store performance, and improvement plans. Uphold a positive and disciplined store culture rooted in accountability, respect, and creativity.

2. Team Leadership & Development



Lead, train, and inspire a team of stylists, sales executives, and support staff. Foster a culture of collaboration, respect, and creative excellence. Conduct regular team reviews, training sessions, and performance feedback. Recruit and retain top-tier retail talent aligned with brand values and aesthetics. Supervise daily operations and ensure all team members uphold professional standards

3. Sales & Business Performance



Drive consistent sales growth by identifying opportunities and implementing effective conversion strategies. Analyse store performance metrics -- conversion rate, ATV (average transaction value), UPT (units per transaction), and category contribution. Strategise and execute events, promotions, or collaborations that increase footfall and customer retention. Forecast sales based on historical data, current trends, and upcoming campaigns. Provide actionable insights to the brand team on product performance and client buying behaviour. Maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring repeat business and referrals.

4. Customer Styling & Experience



Provide

personalised, high-touch styling advice

and fitting guidance to clients. Curate looks aligned with client preferences, brand aesthetic, and latest trends. Manage the entire

client journey

from styling consultations to after-sales follow-up. Coordinate measurements, alterations, and customisation requests with precision. Build long-term relationships with high-value clientele to drive loyalty and referrals. Ensure every client interaction reflects the brand's

luxury service ethos

5. Visual Merchandising & Store Presentation



Oversee all visual merchandising to reflect the brand's premium aesthetic. Direct mannequin styling, seasonal displays, and in-store product curation. Maintain immaculate showroom standards at all times. Align store visuals with ongoing campaigns, product drops, and trend directions. Collaborate with brand and marketing teams for coordinated visuals and promotions.

6. Customisation & Alterations Management



Act as the point of contact for all customised and made-to-measure orders. Oversee fittings, tailoring schedules, and product delivery timelines. Coordinate with in-house tailors and vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery. Maintain and track alteration registers and client customisation logs. Ensure every finished garment (sarees, lehengas, gowns, etc.) meets brand quality standards.

7. Merchandising & Label Curation



Curate a well-balanced merchandise mix suited to brand positioning and client demand. Identify and onboard new designers and labels aligned with brand philosophy. Liaise with partner brands for favourable terms, margins, and exclusivity. Participate in buying trips or virtual showrooms for upcoming season selections. Provide structured feedback to the merchandising and design teams.

8. Operations & Store Administration



Supervise all daily store operations including opening/closing, billing, and cash handling. Conduct weekly stock audits and ensure seamless inventory management. Ensure showroom hygiene, SOP adherence, and timely vendor coordination. Report operational and sales updates to brand leadership regularly.

9. Brand Representation & Market Awareness



Serve as a brand ambassador, representing the brand at all levels. Stay current with industry movements, fashion trends, and competitor activity. Liaise with marketing teams for events, collaborations, and campaign support. Participate in domestic travel for styling assignments or partner brand meetings.

Qualifications + Requirements



5-7 years of proven experience

in luxury or premium fashion retail, styling, or merchandising. Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to manage teams and clients seamlessly. Excellent understanding of

tailoring, garment construction, and visual merchandising.

Strong sense of aesthetics, colour coordination, and trend awareness. Hands-on experience in store operations, label curation, and client customisation. Proficient in basic retail tools; familiarity with Shopify or POS systems preferred. Located in Pune and available for a face-to-face interview.

Preferred Age:

30-40 years.
