Job Description

1. Educational Qualifications



Graduate - Preferably in Commerce, Science, or Supply Chain.

Preferred: Diploma/Certification in Store Management, Inventory Control, or Logistics.

Additional Advantage: Knowledge of chemistry basics (for safe handling of agrochemicals).

2. Experience Requirements



Minimum 7-10 years' experience in store operations, preferably in:

Agrichemical industry, Chemical manufacturing, FMCG / warehouse handling

Experience in batch-controlled and expiry-sensitive inventory is highly desirable.

3. Technical Skills



Proficiency in ERP Systems: SAP / Tally / Marg or any industry-standard ERP.

Strong understanding of GRN (Goods Receipt Note), Stock Ledger, Batch Management, and FIFO/FEFO.

Knowledge of HSE compliance, including:

MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet), PPE usage, Hazard classification (flammable, toxic, corrosive)

Ability to maintain: Bin card system, Daily stock register, and Material issue/return register

4. Mandatory Compliance Knowledge



Govt. compliance for agrichemicals:

Insecticide Act & Rules (basic understanding)

Proper storage norms for pesticides / agrochemicals

Temperature & humidity control norms

5. Key Skills & Competencies



Inventory and stock management in ERP



Manage the requisition, MRS & GRN in ERP.

Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing stock.

Maintain Bin Card System.

Keep track of minimum and maximum stock levels.

Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations.

Oversee the organization of the stockroom and ensure efficient storage.

Implement procedures to minimize losses and improve efficiency.

Operations and logistics



Supervise and manage day-to-day store operations to ensure a smooth workflow.

Coordinate with production, procurement, and other teams.

Manage the logistics of incoming and outgoing shipments.

Ensure all materials are properly inspected by quality assurance before being accepted into stock.

Staff and safety management



Supervise and manage store personnel, including scheduling and performance.

Train staff on procedures and safety protocols.

Implement and enforce safety and security procedures.

Ensure the store complies with health and safety regulations.

Reporting and administration



Prepare and maintain various store reports, such as reconciliation statements, and use ERP software.

Handle administrative tasks like maintaining stock records.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?50,000.00 - ?60,000.00 per month
