Job Description

The Store Executive - F&B (Cineplex) is responsible for managing all food, beverage, and concession inventory at the cinema. This includes receipt, storage, issuance, and control of stock for the concession counters and kitchen areas. The role ensures smooth operations by maintaining proper inventory levels, adhering to hygiene standards, and coordinating with purchase and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:1. Inventory Management



Maintain accurate stock of all concession items such as popcorn kernels, nachos, sauces, beverages, disposables, etc. Monitor daily issues to counters and kitchen; maintain updated stock records. Conduct daily and monthly physical stock counts and reconcile with system data. Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) method for all consumables and perishables. Identify and report slow-moving, expired, or damaged items promptly.

2. Material Receipt & Verification



Receive goods from vendors as per purchase order and verify quantity & quality. Cross-check invoices/delivery challans with purchase orders. Reject and document any damaged or substandard items. Prepare GRN (Goods Receipt Note) and update inventory systems.

3. Storage & Hygiene



Maintain organized storage areas with proper labeling and segregation (food / non-food). Ensure appropriate temperature and humidity for perishable items. Follow strict hygiene, pest control, and FSSAI compliance standards. Coordinate periodic cleaning and upkeep of store areas.

4. Issuance & Consumption Control



Issue items to concession and kitchen teams based on approved indents. Track and document daily issues and returns from counters. Work with the F&B and finance teams to analyze consumption vs. sales reports. Support in variance analysis and minimize wastage or pilferage.

5. Coordination & Reporting



Coordinate with the purchase department for timely replenishment of stock. Submit daily and monthly stock statements to management. Support internal audits and assist in cost control initiatives. Liaise with vendors and accounts for billing and payment verification.

Qualifications & Skills:



Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management / Commerce / Supply Chain. 2-5 years of experience in F&B or hospitality stores management. Knowledge of F&B materials, perishables handling, and vendor coordination. Familiarity with inventory software (e.g., POS, ERP). Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and record-keeping. Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualifications & Skills:



Graduate / Diploma in Hotel Management, Commerce, or Supply Chain. 2-5 years of experience in F&B or cinema concession store management. Knowledge of F&B products, concession materials, and storage procedures. Familiar with POS / ERP or other inventory software. Strong record-keeping, analytical, and communication skills. High integrity and attention to detail.
