Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain, monitor, and control stock of construction materials, tools, and equipment. Ensure proper receipt, inspection, and documentation of all incoming materials. Issue materials to site teams as per indent requisitions while maintaining proper records. Conduct regular stock verification and reconciliation with physical inventory. Coordinate with purchase and project teams for timely availability of materials. Ensure storage of materials in good condition as per safety and quality standards. Prepare and update stock registers, GRN (Goods Receipt Note), and issue slips. Monitor minimum stock levels and raise purchase requisitions when required. Handle returns, damaged materials, and coordinate with vendors for replacements. Maintain MIS reports and support audits related to store management

Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of construction materials (cement, steel, aggregates, electrical/plumbing items, etc.). Good understanding of inventory control, ERP/Excel reporting. Attention to detail, record-keeping, and documentation. Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and vendors. Strong organizational and communication skills.
