Oversee the receipt, inspection, storage, preservation, and issuance/dispatch of all incoming and outgoing PEB materials and products.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate stock records, including Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), issue slips, and other relevant documentation.
Logistics Coordination:
Coordinate with the purchase, production, and logistics teams to ensure smooth material flow, including vehicle scheduling, loading, and packing for dispatch.
System Management:
Utilize ERP/SAP systems for all inventory and transaction records.
Stores Maintenance:
Ensure the store and warehouse areas are maintained in a clean, organized, and safe manner, adhering to all safety guidelines and company policies.
Reporting:
Prepare and analyze various reports related to stock, sales (if applicable in a retail setting), and overall store performance.
Coordination:
Coordinate with other departments, such as production, quality control, and accounts, to ensure seamless operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
Proven experience (often 2-4 years) in Stores within the PEB or Steel Fabrication industry is highly preferred.
Knowledge:
Good knowledge of inventory management, warehouse management practices, and PEB-specific materials.
Technical Proficiency:
Basic computer skills (Excel/Tally) and experience with ERP/SAP systems are necessary.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication, organizational, and potentially team supervision skills.
