Responsibilities - Store Executive (Civil Works / EPC)
1. Receive materials from client/vendors and verify quantity, quality, and specifications.
2. Prepare Goods Receipt Note (GRN) and maintain all receipt documentation.
3. Properly stack, label, and organize all civil and EPC materials in the store/yard.
4. Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials in registers/Excel/ERP.
5. Issue materials to subcontractors as per approved Material Issue Slips.
6. Track subcontractor-wise material consumption daily.
7. Ensure unused materials, shuttering items, and tools are returned to the store.
8. Manage stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of fast-moving materials.
9. Implement FIFO for cement, chemicals, and consumables.
10. Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock audits and reconcile physical stock.
11. Prevent material pilferage, loss, damage, and misuse.
12. Maintain tool inventory and track the issuance/return of tools and equipment.
13. Coordinate with site engineers for daily and weekly material requirements.
14. Support procurement team with material requirement planning for EPC works.
15. Coordinate with engineering and purchase teams regarding material specifications.
16. Handle documentation like delivery challans, gate passes, stock registers, and MIS reports.
17. Prepare daily/weekly stock and material movement reports for management and clients.
18. Monitor the condition of shuttering, scaffolding, PPE, and tools.
19. Manage yard housekeeping and ensure a clean and safe storage environment.
20. Ensure compliance with company material handling procedures and safety rules.
21. Follow up with vendors for pending deliveries or shortages identified during receipt.
22. Assist in vendor material inspection along with QA/QC or site engineer when required.
23. Maintain records for returnable and non-returnable materials.
24. Support EPC operations with tracking of steel fabrication materials and consumables.
25. Ensure all material transactions are updated promptly to avoid mismatch in stock.
Required Qualifications
Education
Diploma in Civil Engineering (preferred)
OR ITI in Civil / Store Management / Material Management
Bachelor's degree in a related field is an advantage
Experience
3-7 years of experience as Storekeeper/Store Executive in civil construction or EPC works.
Must have managed store operations at building construction sites, industrial plants, infrastructure projects, or fabrication yards.
