Manage the day-to-day operations of the school store.
Issue and receive materials, uniforms, books, and stationery as per requirements.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store area.
Ensure that all items are properly labeled, priced, and stored systematically.
2. Inventory Management
Maintain accurate stock registers and update records for all incoming and outgoing items.
Conduct periodic physical verification of stock and reconcile discrepancies.
Prepare purchase requisitions based on stock levels and anticipated requirements.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely procurement and delivery.
3. Sales & Distribution
Sell approved school items (e.g., uniforms, books, notebooks) to students and parents.
Maintain sales records and ensure proper cash handling and reconciliation.
Issue materials to different departments or teachers as per approved requests.
4. Reporting & Documentation
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock and sales reports.
Maintain records of purchase orders, delivery challans, and receipts.
Assist in preparing annual inventory audits and reports for management review.
5. Compliance & Coordination
Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures related to store operations.
Coordinate with the accounts department for billing and payment processes.
Support school events or functions by arranging and issuing necessary materials.
