Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inbound and outbound materials, ensure proper storage and organization of goods, and conduct physical verification of inventory.
- Procurement: Assist in procurement processes, track deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of goods.
- Warehouse Operations: Oversee warehouse aspects, manage inventory control processes, and maintain equipment and tools.
- Reporting: Prepare and update paperwork, maintain records of variances, and submit daily and monthly MIS reports.
- Stock Control: Monitor stock levels, reorder supplies as needed, and ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Supplier Coordination: Handle vendor relationships, manage stock rotation, and address supplier inquiries.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and warehouse procedures.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of experience in storekeeping or logistics, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in inventory management software.
- Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in supply chain management or logistics is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of inventory management software, such as SAP module, and familiarity with Excel, inventory tools, or ERP systems.
