Position Overview:

We are hiring a

Store Executive

with a Mechanical Engineering background and hands-on experience in managing

cutting tool inventory

for our manufacturing unit in Pune. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in tool management, inventory control, and store operations, ensuring timely availability and proper storage of tools and materials to support production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle daily store operations including

receipt, issuance, and storage of cutting tools

and other mechanical items. Maintain accurate

stock records

and ensure timely

updating in ERP/system

. Identify and maintain

tool life records

, consumption patterns, and reordering levels. Coordinate with the

production and tool room teams

for tool availability and issue based on job requirements. Ensure proper

labeling, tagging, and storage

of tools to prevent mix-up and damage. Monitor and control

minimum and maximum stock levels

to avoid shortages or overstocking. Conduct

periodic physical stock verification

and reconcile with system inventory. Manage

returnable and non-returnable tools

and maintain documentation for the same. Work closely with the

purchase and planning departments

to ensure timely procurement of tools. Follow 5S, safety, and housekeeping standards in the store area.

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in

Mechanical Engineering

2-3 years of relevant experience in

store management

with a focus on

cutting tools

(inserts, holders, drills, end mills, etc.) Knowledge of different types of tools, tool holders, and their applications in machining processes. Experience working with

ERP systems

(SAP, Tally, or equivalent) for inventory tracking. Proficient in

MS Excel

, documentation, and basic reporting. Good understanding of

tool consumption planning

, regrinding cycles, and tool costing. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in

automotive or precision machining industry

. Exposure to

CNC machining processes

and related tooling. Understanding of

ISO/TS documentation

related to stores.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹27,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
