Label and package remedies accurately, ensuring correct potency, dosage form, and storage conditions.
Maintain accurate records of formulations, prescriptions, and batch preparations.
Patient Care & Consultation
Advise patients and healthcare practitioners on the appropriate use of homeopathic remedies.
Provide guidance on dosage, administration, and possible interactions with conventional medicines.
Promote safe and evidence-informed use of complementary therapies.
Inventory & Quality Control
Manage inventory of raw materials, mother tinctures, and finished remedies.
Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and local regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular quality checks on materials and finished products.
Research & Development
Assist in developing new formulations or improving existing remedies.
Stay current with developments in homeopathic pharmacology and complementary medicine research.
Regulatory & Documentation
Maintain and update documentation as required by pharmacy and health authorities.
Ensure compliance with national laws governing homeopathic medicines and controlled substances (if applicable).
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm / M.Pharm) with specialization or certification in Homeopathy or Homeopathic Pharmacy.
Registration with relevant pharmacy or homeopathic board/council.
Experience:
1-3 years of experience in a homeopathic pharmacy, compounding lab, or related field preferred.
Skills:
Strong understanding of homeopathic principles and dilution scales (e.g., X, C, LM potencies).
Attention to detail and accuracy in compounding and labeling.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of pharmacovigilance and safe handling of homeopathic substances.
Work Environment
Typically works in a homeopathic pharmacy, hospital dispensary, or manufacturing unit.
May involve standing for long periods, handling sensitive materials, and maintaining sterile conditions.
