Responsibilities of RM/PM Handling Personnel1. Receiving Materials
Verify incoming raw materials and packaging materials against purchase orders.
Inspect materials for damage, labeling, and documentation (e.g., COA, MSDS).
Coordinate with Quality Assurance (QA) for sampling and release.
2. Storage
Store materials in designated areas as per defined storage conditions (temperature, humidity, etc.).
Ensure segregation of quarantined, approved, and rejected materials.
Maintain stock rotation using FIFO or FEFO principles as applicable.
3. Dispensing
Dispense RM and PM as per approved batch manufacturing or packaging records.
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Ensure accurate weighing and labeling of dispensed materials.
4. Documentation
Maintain accurate and complete records for material receipt, movement, storage, and usage.
Ensure traceability through proper labeling and documentation.
Record all activities in logbooks, ERP systems, or inventory management systems.
5. Gowning & Hygiene
Follow proper gowning procedures before entering RM/PM handling areas.
Undergo gowning training during onboarding and refreshers as required.
Maintain personal hygiene to avoid contamination risks.
6. Compliance & Safety
Adhere to all GMP, GDP (Good Documentation Practices), and company-specific quality standards.
Follow safety procedures when handling hazardous or sensitive materials.
Report deviations, non-conformances, or any observed issues to the supervisor or QA.
