Job Summary:



The Engineering Store Executive is responsible for managing the inventory and supply of engineering spare parts, tools, and materials. This role ensures the timely availability of critical components required for maintenance and production, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring proper storage and handling of items in accordance with company policies and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:



Inventory Management:

Receive, inspect, and store incoming engineering goods and materials. Maintain accurate stock levels through regular inventory checks and stock reconciliations. Monitor and record the movement of all materials in and out of the store.

Stock Control & Reordering:

Maintain minimum stock levels and reorder materials as necessary. Coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment of critical spares. Identify slow-moving and obsolete items and report for disposal or redistribution.

Documentation & Record-Keeping:

Maintain GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), issue slips, return slips, and other relevant documents. Ensure all inventory transactions are updated in the ERP system. Generate regular stock reports for internal audits and management review.

Coordination:

Liaise with production, and procurement teams to understand material requirements. Support technical staff by providing the right tools and materials promptly. Coordinate with vendors for material delivery and return of rejected items.

Compliance & Safety:

Ensure the engineering store complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of hazardous materials and critical components. Conduct housekeeping audits to maintain cleanliness and order in the store.

Key Skills & Competencies:



Strong understanding of engineering spares, tools, and consumables. Good knowledge of inventory management systems. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Attention to detail and problem-solving ability. Proficient in MS Excel and basic computer operations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications:



Any Graduate / Diploma or a related field. 2-3 years of experience in engineering store or maintenance store management. Knowledge of ERP systems is preferred.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
