Job Summary:

The Store Executive is responsible for managing inventory, receiving and dispatching goods, maintaining records, and ensuring efficient storage systems within a transformer manufacturing unit. The role involves close coordination with procurement, production, and quality departments to ensure timely availability of materials and components.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

Maintain accurate inventory of raw materials, components, and finished goods related to transformer manufacturing (e.g., copper winding wire, core laminations, bushings, insulating materials). Regularly update stock levels in the ERP system. Monitor stock for expiry, obsolescence, or damage.

Material Handling:

Supervise unloading, storage, and issuance of materials as per production requirements. Ensure proper labeling and storage according to safety and material handling standards.

Documentation & Reporting:

Prepare GRN (Goods Receipt Notes), stock reports, and material issue slips. Maintain records of inward and outward movement of goods. Reconcile physical stock with system records periodically.

Coordination:

Coordinate with the purchase department for timely receipt of materials. Work with production and quality teams to ensure availability of approved materials.

Compliance & Safety:

Adhere to ISO, 5S, and safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized store area. Implement and follow company procedures for material handling and storage.

ERP / Software Proficiency:

Operate and maintain records using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally).

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.

Experience:

2-5 years in a similar role in the electrical or transformer manufacturing industry.

Skills:

Knowledge of transformer components and materials. Proficiency in inventory management software. Strong organizational and documentation skills. Good communication and coordination abilities.
