to manage and oversee the inventory of construction materials at project sites. The ideal candidate will ensure timely receipt, storage, and issuance of materials in accordance with project requirements and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement for material replenishment.
Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report to the procurement team.
Ensure proper storage, stacking, and tagging of materials as per company guidelines.
Issue materials to site engineers/supervisors based on requisition slips.
Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly material consumption reports.
Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and site staff for smooth material flow.
Conduct periodic physical stock verification and audits.
Ensure cleanliness, safety, and security of the store premises.
Maintain tools and equipment records and track issuance/return.
Follow up on material return, scrap disposal, and damaged goods.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Inventory Management, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in store keeping /inventory control in a civil construction setting.
Knowledge of civil construction materials and tools.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
