The Store & Dispatch Incharge is responsible for managing all inward and outward material movement, maintaining accurate inventory records, organising the store, and ensuring timely and error-free dispatches. This role is critical for keeping the production floor supplied and ensuring finished goods reach customers on time.
Key Responsibilities:1. Inward Coordination
Receive and check inward goods for quality and quantity.
Prepare Goods Inward Vouchers (GIV) accurately.
Arrange and supervise unloading of goods.
Update stock records for all inward materials.
2. Outward Coordination
Match Sale Orders (SO) with available material.
Ensure produced material is packed, measured, and ready for dispatch.
Prepare Dispatch Vouchers and coordinate with billing team.
Arrange loading and coordinate with transporters for timely delivery.
3. Inventory & Store Management
Maintain updated stock records of fabric rolls, finished goods, and consumables (inward, outward, consumed, balance).
Organise store layout for easy access and space utilisation.
Conduct weekly review of stock and reconcile records.
Raise requirements for consumables/raw materials before they run out.
Handle scrap disposal/sale and keep records updated.
4. Reporting & Coordination
Share daily stock status with management (opening, receipts, issues, closing).
Report shortages, damages, or extraordinary events promptly.
Coordinate with purchase team for timely receipt of material.
Skills & Competencies:
Experience in storekeeping and dispatch operations.
Good knowledge of stock management systems (Excel/ERP).
Strong coordination skills with transporters and production team.
Ability to work with accuracy and maintain proper documentation.
