Inventory Management:
Oversee the receipt, inspection, and appropriate storage of all incoming poultry medicines and related products.
Maintain accurate inventory records using systems like SAP or Tally, performing regular stock verification and reconciling discrepancies.
Implement efficient space utilization and stock rotation methods, such as FIFO (First In, First Out), to manage stock levels and minimize waste.
Monitor stock levels, report on dead stock, and prepare requisitions for procurement as needed to maintain minimum required stock.
Dispatch Operations:
Plan and execute the timely dispatch of orders to customers, coordinating with the sales and marketing teams.
Coordinate with transport agencies and logistics providers to arrange vehicles, optimize delivery routes, and track shipments.
Ensure all goods are accurately packed, labeled, and accompanied by correct documentation, including invoices, e-way bills, and delivery challans, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Resolve any issues, delays, or discrepancies that may arise during the dispatch or delivery process.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure all storage and handling of medicines comply with relevant health, safety, and agricultural/veterinary regulations, including proper disposal of expired or damaged products.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the store and dispatch areas.
Coordination and Reporting:
Liaise effectively with internal departments (purchase, sales, quality control) and external parties (suppliers, transporters, customers).
Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reports on inventory, dispatch performance metrics, and logistics costs for management review.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to deliveries, ensuring high levels of customer service.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is often preferred.
Experience:
Previous experience (typically 1-3 years) in a storekeeping, dispatch, or warehouse role, preferably within the pharmaceutical, veterinary, or FMCG industries.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in inventory management software/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Tally) and MS Office (especially Excel for reporting).
Knowledge of documentation processes for shipping (invoicing, e-way bills) and transportation regulations.
Soft Skills:
Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
