Position Overview:
The
Plant Dispatch Executive / Supervisor
will be responsible for overseeing dispatch operations, ensuring timely delivery of finished goods, and maintaining coordination between production, inventory, logistics, and customers. The role also includes supervision of material receipt, inspection, and proper documentation to ensure smooth inbound and outbound material management.
Plan and oversee daily dispatch schedules as per production and customer requirements.
Coordinate with transporters for vehicle arrangements and timely shipments.
Verify packing lists, invoices, and delivery challans before dispatch.
Ensure proper loading and safe handling of finished goods.
Maintain records of dispatched material, transport details, and proof of delivery.
Inventory & Material Handling
Assist in material receipt at the plant gate and coordinate unloading.
Inspect incoming raw materials/consumables for quantity and quality as per purchase order.
Ensure GRN (Goods Receipt Note) and inspection reports are properly recorded.
Track material stock movement between production, stores, and dispatch sections.
Work closely with the inventory team to avoid shortages or excesses.
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain accurate dispatch registers, inventory records, and ERP entries.
Ensure compliance with company SOPs, ISO standards, and statutory requirements.
Report daily dispatch and material receipt status to Plant/SCM Manager.
Support audit requirements by keeping records updated and organized.
Team & Coordination
Supervise dispatch helpers, loaders, and drivers during loading/unloading operations.
Coordinate with production, stores, and purchase departments for seamless operations.
Address and resolve discrepancies in material receipts or dispatches.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Education:
Diploma / Graduate in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Mechanical background preferred.
Experience:
2-4 years in dispatch, logistics, or plant inventory management (preferably in manufacturing industry).
Skills:
Knowledge of dispatch planning, material handling, and inventory processes.
Basic understanding of ERP/Excel for reporting.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to handle coordination under tight schedules.
Physical Requirement:
Ability to supervise shop-floor activities and manage loading/unloading operations.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
