The Store-cum-Accountant is responsible for managing construction site materials and handling basic accounting activities. The role involves maintaining accurate stock records, issuing and receiving materials, preparing vouchers and bills, and supporting day-to-day financial transactions. The position ensures proper material control, cost tracking, and compliance with company procedures at the project site.
Key Responsibilities
Store / Material Duties
Maintain records of construction materials (cement, steel, sand, tools, etc.)
Issue and receive materials as per site requirement
Keep stock registers and monitor shortages/excess
Coordinate with site engineers and vendors
Handle GRN, challans, and material invoices
Accounting Duties
Maintain day-to-day accounts (cash book, petty cash)
Prepare bills, vouchers, and expense statements
Assist in purchase entries and vendor payments
Maintain attendance/wage records (if required)
Support monthly accounts and audits
Skills Required
Knowledge of
construction materials
Basic accounting (Tally / Excel preferred)
Stock management & documentation
Attention to detail and coordination skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
