To review continuously par stock levels through inventory 'turnover audits' and to determine inventory levels that represent the best reconciliation of profit and turnover objectives
To plan, organize, co-ordinate and control the operations of all the stores on a continuous basis so as to ensure the availability of sufficient lead time to ensure timely delivery and issue of merchandize and goods
To keep records of the movement of different categories of merchandize and take timely corrective action to prevent wastage
To process purchase requisitions (duly approved by the department head and the general manager) for procurement of 'non-store' items, clearly mentioning the dates on which the items are required and forward the same to the purchase department immediately
To co-ordinate with food and beverage controls to ensure timely submission of daily receiving report, confirming the 'blind transfer' of F&B merchandize from the receiving point to F&B stores
