Manage and oversee daily store operations for material handling equipment, spare parts, and consumables.
Ensure accurate receipt, storage, and issue of materials as per company policies.
Maintain proper documentation of inward/outward materials and update inventory records in ERP/software.
Conduct periodic stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
Coordinate with the purchase and production teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
Monitor and maintain stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
Implement FIFO/FEFO methods for material issuance.
Ensure safe handling, proper stacking, and storage of materials.
Maintain housekeeping and safety standards in the store area.
Supervise store staff and allocate daily work effectively.
Requirements:
Graduate/Diploma in Material Management/Logistics/Supply Chain or relevant field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in store management, preferably in material handling or manufacturing industry.
Knowledge of inventory management systems, ERP (SAP, Tally, or equivalent).
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Good knowledge of safety practices in material handling.
