We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented
Store Assistant
to manage store operations at our Adibatla facility. This role will primarily involve managing raw material and consumable store activities, including the preparation of Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), store entries, stock audits, and inventory control using FIFO and LIFO methods. Experience with ERP systems and a keen eye for stock accuracy are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Goods Receipt Note (GRN) Preparation:
Prepare and process GRNs for all incoming materials, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with company standards.
Store Entries & Stock Management:
Accurately enter data into the store inventory system (ERP) and maintain records for raw materials and consumables.
Raw Material Store Management:
Efficiently manage and track the inventory of raw materials, ensuring optimal stock levels and timely availability for production.
Consumable Store Management:
Oversee consumable items, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper distribution to respective departments.
FIFO/LIFO Method Implementation:
Apply FIFO (First In, First Out) and LIFO (Last In, First Out) stock management techniques to ensure effective inventory rotation, reducing wastage and stockouts.
ERP Entries:
Perform regular entries and updates in the ERP system for stock movements, receipts, issues, and stock adjustments.
Stock Audit & Reporting:
Conduct periodic stock audits to ensure accuracy, address discrepancies, and report findings to management. Assist with physical counting of inventory and reconciliation of discrepancies.
Inventory Control:
Regularly monitor stock levels and help prevent overstocking or stockouts, ensuring that inventory is managed in line with production requirements.
General Store Maintenance:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:
Previous experience in store management, preferably in manufacturing or production environments.
Knowledge:
Understanding of inventory management, stock rotation (FIFO, LIFO), and GRN processes.
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for data entry and inventory tracking.
Attention to Detail:
Strong attention to detail for accurate data entry, stock management, and stock audits.
Communication:
Good written and verbal communication skills for reporting and coordination with other departments.
Analytical Skills:
Ability to perform basic analysis of stock movements, trends, and discrepancies.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry materials, stand for long periods, and perform tasks that may require physical effort.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with stock audits and reconciliation.
Familiarity with health and safety standards in warehouse management.
Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in inventory or supply chain management are a plus.
