Responsible for supporting daily store operations by managing inventory, handling documentation, and providing clerical assistance to ensure efficient functioning of the hospital store.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and verify goods deliveries; unpack, inspect, and store inventory properly.
Maintain accurate records of stock levels, update inventory management systems, and ensure items are stocked to appropriate levels.
Coordinate with suppliers and place orders for replenishment as needed.
Assist with documentation, filing, scanning, and maintaining store-related paperwork.
Support the store manager in daily administrative tasks and inventory audits.
Ensure compliance with safety and storage standards for all materials and equipment.
Facilitate communication between store, purchase department, and other hospital units regarding stock availability and requirements.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area.
Provide backup clerical support during high workload periods or staff absences.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional administrative training is an advantage.
Prior experience in inventory or office administration preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in basic computer applications and inventory software.
Good communication skills and teamwork orientation.
Ability to handle physical tasks and lift moderate weights safely
