to support the Purchase Department in managing hospital procurement and inventory functions. The role involves assisting in the purchase, storage, and issue of medical and non-medical materials while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with hospital policies.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in receiving, verifying, and recording all materials delivered to the hospital.
Support the purchase team in preparing and maintaining purchase orders and invoices.
Maintain stock registers and ensure proper documentation of inward/outward materials.
Monitor stock levels and update the purchase team on requirements for replenishment.
Ensure proper storage and labeling of materials for easy identification and issue.
Coordinate with departments for timely supply of requested items.
Assist in vendor follow-ups for pending deliveries.
Conduct regular stock checks and support in monthly/annual stock audits.
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization in the stores area.
Adhere to hospital policies and procedures related to purchase and stores management.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum qualification: Graduate / Diploma (Any discipline).
1-2 years of experience in Purchase/Stores (preferably in a hospital/healthcare sector).
Good knowledge of MS Office & inventory software.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work in a team with attention to detail.
