To support efficient inventory and store operations by ensuring accurate stock handling, proper storage, quality checks, timely issue of materials to the kitchen, and maintenance of cleanliness and compliance with company standards. The role contributes to smooth kitchen operations and effective inventory control.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management
? Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels regularly.
? Report stock discrepancies, shortages, or excess inventory to the Inventory & Procurement Officer.
? Ensure proper stock rotation and adherence to FIFO principles.
Receiving & Storing Supplies
? Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming deliveries against purchase orders.
? Ensure correct storage of raw materials and supplies in designated areas.
? Coordinate with the kitchen for timely supply of issued materials.
Store Area Maintenance
? Maintain cleanliness, organization, and orderliness of the store area.
? Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and storage standards at all times.
Stock Take & Audits
? Assist in periodic stock takes and physical inventory counts.
? Identify and report variances between physical stock and system records.
Data Entry & Documentation
? Enter details of received stock including quantity, price, description, and supplier information.
? Record stock issued to kitchen departments accurately.
? Update inventory adjustments such as transfers, damages, expiries, or losses.
Quality Control
? Check expiry dates and condition of perishable and non-perishable items.
? Inspect goods for physical damage, broken seals, or quality deviations.
? Verify weights, quantities, and specifications as per supplier documents.
Pre-Order & Requirement Verification
? Confirm product availability in-store or with suppliers before order placement.
? Verify order details including item description, quantity, price, and delivery schedule
Qualification:
Education:
Minimum Plus Two / Higher Secondary or equivalent
Experience:
1-3 years of experience in store, inventory, or similar role preferred
Knowledge:
Basic understanding of store operations and inventory processes
