Job Summary:

The Store Assistant is responsible for supporting day-to-day store operations in a manufacturing environment. This includes receiving materials, proper storage, inventory management, and issuing materials to production teams. The role ensures accuracy, cleanliness, and organization of the store while complying with company procedures and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive and inspect incoming materials, match them with purchase orders and invoices. Label, tag, and store items in designated locations systematically. Issue materials and tools to the production team based on approved requisitions. Maintain accurate records of stock received and issued in ERP/manual systems. Perform regular stock audits and assist in monthly/yearly physical inventory checks. Ensure proper storage conditions to avoid material damage or deterioration. Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the Store In-Charge. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the store area. Assist in packing and dispatch of finished goods or returned materials, if applicable. Follow safety and compliance protocols as per company standards.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Basic knowledge of inventory management systems (ERP/SAP/Tally or similar). Familiarity with storekeeping procedures in a manufacturing setup. Ability to lift and move materials safely. Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Teamwork and good communication skills. Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Word).

Qualifications & Experience:

Education:

Minimum 10+2 / Diploma in Store Management or related field.

Experience:

1-3 years in a store assistant or similar role in a manufacturing unit. Freshers with relevant education and training can also be considered.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
