:
Receive raw materials (fabric, threads, accessories) and finished goods.
Ensure proper tagging, labelling, and stacking of items.
Maintain cleanliness and order in the store area.
Inventory Management
:
Update stock registers and software entries regularly.
Assist in monthly and yearly stock audits.
Alert supervisors on low stock levels or excess inventory.
Issue & Dispatch
:
Issue materials to production as per job orders.
Prepare items for packing and dispatch as per delivery schedule.
Coordinate with dispatch/logistics teams for outgoing goods.
Documentation & Records
:
Maintain inward and outward register.
Ensure bills, challans, gate passes, and GRNs are properly filed.
Support compliance with company and statutory norms.
Quality Check
:
Check received items for damage or defects.
Inform management about quality issues immediately.
Coordination
:
Work closely with cutting, tailoring, finishing and QC departments.
Coordinate with suppliers/delivery personnel when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
:
SSLC / Plus Two or relevant qualification.
1-2 years experience in garment/apparel/uniform industry preferred.
Knowledge of basic computer operation (Excel, Inventory software).
Physically fit, punctual, and organized.
Basic understanding of fabrics, trims, and production items.
Work Conditions
:
Standing and lifting may be required.
Uniform and ID badge to be worn during work hours
