The Store Assistant will be responsible for managing day-to-day store operations, maintaining inventory, issuing materials, and ensuring proper documentation. The role supports purchase, production, and site teams by ensuring timely availability of materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain proper records of incoming and outgoing materials.
Check and verify material quality and quantity during receipt.
Issue materials to production and site teams as per requirement.
Update stock registers, GRN, delivery challans, and inventory software.
Coordinate with purchase team for material shortages.
Monitor stock levels and prepare reorder lists.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and housekeeping of store area.
Handle loading/unloading activities and vendor coordination.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
Maintain safety and cleanliness inside the store.
Assist in annual and monthly physical stock audits.
Skills & Requirements:
Basic knowledge of store management and inventory handling.
Familiarity with GRN, challan, and stock entry.
Computer knowledge (Excel, MS Office).
Ability to manage workload and coordinate with multiple departments.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Qualification:
Minimum 12th pass / Diploma / Graduate
Experience: 1-3 years in store or warehouse operations (preferred)
