Oversee the daily operations of the store, including the receipt, storage, and dispensing of materials and products. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and transactions using management software.
Quality Control:
Conduct quality checks on incoming raw and packaging materials and outgoing finished goods to ensure they meet specifications and standards.
Logistics and Dispatch:
Manage the accurate dispatch of materials to production and finished goods to customers. Coordinate with logistics and production teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure all store activities comply with safety regulations, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and company policies.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of all material and finished goods activities and ensure proper documentation.
Reporting:
Generate reports on performance metrics for materials and finished goods for management review.
Key skills and qualifications
Strong knowledge of inventory management and storekeeping functions, preferably in manufacturing or a related field.
Proficiency with inventory management software and tools, such as Tally,Marg
Experience with conducting stock checks, reconciliation, and audits.
Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with various teams, such as production, quality assurance, and finance.
Strong leadership and training skills for store staff.
Understanding of regulatory requirements and company standards.
