Responsible for managing the

Stores

and

Pattern Section

, ensuring safe custody, accurate records, and timely issue/return of materials and patterns required for production.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, verify, and record incoming materials, consumables, and tools. Issue raw materials, consumables, and spares to production against requisitions. Maintain stock records (manual/ERP). Monitor stock levels and inform shortages in advance. Assist in dispatch activities such as packing, labeling, and loading. Keep the store clean, safe, and organized. Maintain inventory of all casting patterns (wooden/metal/composite). Issue and record patterns for production/foundry use. Ensure proper return, storage, and care of patterns. Report damages or repair needs of patterns. Organize patterns systematically for easy retrieval. Support pattern audits and verification.

Requirements:

Education: 12th pass minimum; ITI/Diploma preferred. Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel / ERP). 1-2 years' experience in stores, inventory, or foundry operations preferred. Physically fit to handle material and patterns. Organized, detail-oriented, and responsible.
