Responsible for managing the storage, inventory control, and timely dispatch of goods to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Store Management
Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods.
Ensure proper storage of materials in designated areas.
Maintain stock levels and prevent shortages or overstocking.
Inventory Control
Update inventory records in ERP/stock register daily.
Conduct periodic stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
Maintain records of damaged, returned, or defective goods.
Dispatch Operations
Prepare and pack goods for dispatch as per order requirements.
Coordinate with transporters/couriers for timely delivery.
Generate and verify dispatch documents (Invoice, Delivery Challan, etc.).
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain inward/outward register.
Ensure compliance with company policies, GST, and statutory requirements.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly stock and dispatch reports.
Coordination & Communication
Liaise with sales, purchase, and production teams for order fulfillment.
Communicate with customers regarding delivery timelines when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
2-4 years of experience in store and dispatch operations.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Knowledge of inventory control and dispatch procedures.
Work Environment:
Warehouse/Factory setting.
Requires physical movement and occasional lifting of goods.
