Your Role and Responsibilities

• Detailed understanding of the Systems and Storage domain and component level content in the document
• Readiness to attend weekly and bi-weekly connects with other stakeholders present globally such as marketing, sales, go-to-market members, and the larger Content Pak Guild community
• Attention to detail and due diligence to ensure the correct git branch is linked to the correct WFM product before publishing for every release
• Ability to coordinate with component writers to understand their tickets pertaining to an upcoming release/general availability (GA) and track for completion
• Obtain an understanding of all the release level content requirements from component writers and provide a detailed status and progress during weekly leadership sync up calls
• Work with the Release Management on Accessibility record and Software Product Compatibility Report (SPCR) before release
• Perform test publishing to Test area of the production taxonomy key to ensure that WFM is configured as expected before the release date
• On the day of release, await affirmative signal from the SME for final publish, and then build the document to the test area of the production key, review the publication, then push to staging followed by a review, and then finally push to production followed by a thorough review in IBM Docs

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 3-10 years of experience in developing content for software or hardware products
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with demonstrated ability (portfolio) to communicate complex technical topics clearly and succinctly
• Ability to work with a global team of experienced writers that manage several components of the IBM Flash System along with managing one\xe2\x80\x99s own individual stack level content
• Familiarity with the Agile development process
• Skilled at analyzing the product team\xe2\x80\x99s requirements, environments, and providing lucrative content solutions to enhance the documentation
• Ability to confidently communicate with leadership and other stakeholders

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience creating a wide range of assets for Storage Products
• Experience with XML authoring tools (such as DITA) and Markdown markup language required to produce content
• Experience using GitHub Enterprise/GitHub Desktop for the document repository of source files
• Familiarity with Visual Studio Code for Markdown editing of files
• Knowledge of Zen Hub, an agile project management solution built directly into GitHub for viewing and tracking the Issue Board
• Thorough understanding of IBM Digital Content Services (DCS), and using IBM Doc Manager and Workflow Manager (WFM) for content publishing
