Job Summary:

We are seeking a

proactive and technically skilled Storage Engineer

to manage and support our

storage infrastructure and server backup operations

. The ideal candidate will have

2-3 years of hands-on experience

with storage systems, backup tools, and data management practices. This is a critical role focused on ensuring the

availability, security, and performance

of enterprise data storage systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and monitor server backup operations to ensure

data integrity and availability

. Administer, configure, and troubleshoot various

storage systems

and related tools. Perform routine

storage system health checks

and proactively address performance or capacity issues. Support

backup and restore

activities for servers, databases, and file systems. Maintain documentation for storage infrastructure, policies, and procedures. Collaborate with IT teams to support infrastructure projects and ensure

data security compliance

. Provide

on-call support

for critical storage-related issues when required.

Requirements:

2-3 years of experience in

Storage Engineering

or

Server Backup Operations

. Strong understanding of

enterprise storage systems (SAN/NAS)

and related tools. Experience with

backup software

and

disaster recovery practices

. Ability to

troubleshoot storage and backup issues

independently. Good

communication and documentation

skills. Relevant certifications (e.g.,

EMC, NetApp, Commvault, Veritas

) are a plus.
