Job Title Storage Engineer Planning the Storage, Backup, and Security strategy, including ownership for all data classification.
\xc2\xb7 Implementation of Storage based solutions including Storage Consolidation, SAN, Backup and Disaster Recovery
Solution in line with defined strategy
\xc2\xb7 Define, design, execute and monitor Solution testing
\xc2\xb7 Identify, define, and develop improvements to processes that support the infrastructure at all AML sites.
\xc2\xb7 Second level support for troubleshooting, problem escalation and resolution
post implementation
\xc2\xb7 Providing technical assistance to the rest of the infrastructure team
\xc2\xb7 Perform management reporting
\xc2\xb7 Work together with IT Managers, the Helpdesk and other areas of IT
\xc2\xb7 Extensive experience in Storage Consolidation, Backup and Recovery and Disaster Recovery either as Team
member or Project Lead
\xc2\xb7 Extensive experience of Symantec NetBackup experience with 6.5 / 7.x
\xc2\xb7 Hands on Storage and SAN Expert
\xc2\xb7 Experienced in maintaining and troubleshooting large mission critical installations
\xc2\xb7 In depth experience and understanding of Storage Architecture and SAN design especially with large scale
\xc2\xb7 implementation experience
\xc2\xb7 Excellent knowledge on SAN / NAS / FC Switches / Tape Libraries
\xc2\xb7 Should have strong technical experience/ expertise with applications to integrate with backup software
\xc2\xb7 Should be able to architect solutions on above platforms
\xc2\xb7 Strong understanding of all IT security standards and products
\xc2\xb7 Expert level understanding of EMC hardware / management solutions, especially Clariion CX4 (NS480 back end) /
