Position Summary:

The Storage Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise storage infrastructure to ensure availability, performance, and data protection. This role requires expertise in SAN, NAS, backup/recovery, and storage security with strong troubleshooting skills in enterprise IT environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain enterprise storage systems (NetApp, EMC, IBM, Dell, HPE, Hitachi).

Manage SAN/NAS environments, RAID configurations, LUN provisioning, zoning, and replication.

Monitor storage capacity and performance; perform tuning and optimization.

Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.

Ensure storage security, data protection, and compliance with organizational policies.

Troubleshoot and resolve storage-related incidents in collaboration with vendors and internal teams.

Automate routine storage tasks using scripting (Shell, PowerShell, Python).

Plan and execute storage upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning activities.

Provide documentation, storage architecture diagrams, and standard operating procedures.

Work closely with server, virtualization, and network teams to support business applications.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of SAN, NAS, Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS, CIFS/SMB.

Experience with storage platforms (NetApp, EMC, IBM, Dell, HPE, Hitachi).

Hands-on with backup/replication tools (Commvault, NetBackup, Veeam).

Familiarity with VMware/Hyper-V integration.

Strong scripting knowledge (Shell/PowerShell/Python).

Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management).

Pay: ₹14,365.28 - ₹51,771.79 per month

Expected hours: No more than 8 per week
