Responsibilities
Experience in managing and configuring various file systems through network using NAS, SAN methodologies and installed RAID devices and identifying and analyzing technical issues and trouble shooting them.
Experience in Firmware Upgrade and Zoning on Switches and Storage Technologies like iSCSI, FC, RAID and Storage Virtualization
Expertise in allocating storage from NetApp Cluster mode NAS/SAN using NFS, CIFS,ISCSI and FCP.
Hands on data compression and deduplication to compress the duplicate data objects.
Expertise with Snapshots, SnapMirror, Snapvault and NetApp management tools like OCUM, Performance Manager.
Problem solving, task prioritization, communication, and organization skills.
Able to work in a deadline environment. Can work efficiently in a team and on individual tasks.
Experience in working on Major Incidents and Problem Management.
Establish Maintain and Mange delivery support team from the daily operations.
Ensure the attainment and maintenance of excellent levels of client satisfaction with regards to operational and storage support.
24x7 on Call Support for Troubleshooting.
Installation, Configuration, and Integration of NetApp Filers with the Windows and UNIX environment, experience with CIFS, NFS, and LUN management, Managing Quotas and Permissions, managing disks.
Support for Disaster Recovery process
Research and implement new technologies to improve the storage infrastructure
Provide on-call support rotation for critical issues outside of normal business hours
Facilitate knowledge sharing by creating and maintaining detailed and comprehensive documentation and diagrams
