The Stock Manager is responsible for effective management, control, and monitoring of raw materials, components, spare parts, and finished agricultural machinery within the manufacturing facility. The role ensures optimal inventory levels, accurate records, and smooth coordination with production, purchase, and dispatch teams.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and monitor stock of raw materials, components, spare parts, and finished agricultural machines.
Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/manual systems, including inward, outward, and balance stock.
Ensure timely availability of materials for uninterrupted production activities.
Coordinate with the Purchase Department for material requirements, reorder levels, and vendor follow-ups.
Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile with system records.
Control stock losses, damages, shortages, and ensure proper storage conditions.
Manage dispatch planning and ensure correct material issuance as per production schedules.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports for management review.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and inventory control procedures.
Coordinate with quality and production teams for rejection, rework, and scrap handling.
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of inventory management and material planning
Familiarity with agricultural machinery parts and manufacturing processes
Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Excel, and stock management tools
Good coordination, communication, and documentation skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
